When you write, include your store address (yourstore.myshopify.com), the label type you print on, and a photo or screenshot if a print looks wrong.
Common questions
My labels print smaller or shifted
In the print dialog choose Actual size or 100%, never Fit to page. Then run Test print on plain paper: the line in the middle should measure exactly 100 mm. If it lines up but sits a little off, use Shift right and Shift down in the Printing settings.
How do I print on a roll printer (DYMO, Zebra, Brother)?
Choose your roll in Label stock. Each label becomes its own PDF page at the exact label size. In the print dialog, pick the same label size in your printer settings. If the printer feeds sideways, set Direction to Turned 90°.
My barcode won't scan
Follow the warnings under the preview. The usual causes are lines that are too thin for the label width or a barcode that is too short. Pick a wider label, shorten the code, or on thermal printers choose your printer's dpi so every bar prints evenly.
What are the barcodes that start with 2?
Codes starting with 2 are reserved for in-store use, so they are safe for your own scanners and POS. Marketplaces and retailers that require registered GS1 codes will not accept them.
I want to use half a sheet I already started
Click the first empty spot on the small sheet map, or type the number in Start at label. Test print puts its sample in that same spot.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. The Free plan includes 250 labels a month. Counts reset on the 1st of each month and test prints are always free. Change or cancel your plan any time from the Plans page in the app.
Why do some characters show as “?”
The built-in label fonts cover Latin alphabets. Letters from scripts such as Arabic, Hindi or Chinese cannot be printed yet, and the app warns you before printing.
